The decorative pillow which is used to
hold the wedding rings during the
procession down the aisle is called a
wedding ring pillow. It is traditional
for a young boy to be the wedding ring
bearer and carry the pillow. Since the
wedding ring bearer is usually young, it
is always a good idea to have some way
of attaching the rings to the pillow,
such as a decorative ribbon which can be
tied around the rings. Since the wedding
day is usually a busy one for the bride
and groom it is a good idea to have a
trusted friend be in charge of securing
the rings and giving the pillow to the
ring bearer just prior to the ceremony.
